The Anderson family came to Waukomis, OK in the early 1900’s and purchased a farm just west of town. Grandpa Frederick Anderson brought his “mail order” bride Fannie to the farmhouse he built that is still standing! He was 40 she was 30 and they were blessed with 6 children.

Richard Anderson, our owner and creator of Buffalo Junction was one of Frederick & Fannie’s grandsons. Richard met and married his bride Mo (Imozelle Gregg) at Waukomis High School. Richard was a great Basketball player that went to OU on a basketball scholarship!

Mo was a standout in High School and was a Cheerleader.  They both succeeded in business and in the real estate market. Mo went on to become the Co-Owner of Keller Williams Realty International, the largest Real Estate Franchise Company in the world!

Richard and Mo love their hometown and built Buffalo Junction & Buffalo Point to bring beauty, business and employment to Waukomis.
